SAFARI EQ14: Murchison Falls - Kibale Forest- Queen Elizabeth (7 Days)

Day 1: Kampala - Para Safari Lodge
  • After breakfast, drive to Masindi via the renowned Luwero triangle.
  • Proceed to the park and have your lunch at the top of the falls as you marvel at the beauty of River Nile.
  • Have your dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge or Nsabya river lodge
Day 2: Murchison falls national park
  • After breakfast, drive and cross the Victoria Nile joining the northern bank for this magnificent game and vegetation.
  • Take a lunch break
  • After lunch, head for a boat cruise up stream on the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls
  • You will return when it is sunset , head for your hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Murchison Falls - Kibale National Park
  • After breakfast, drive to Fort Portal via Hoima. En route are local homesteads, beautiful scenery
  • Enjoy your lunch in Fortportal town
  • After lunch, tour Bigodi swamp around Kibale national park
  • Evening proceed and have dinner and overnight at Kibale tented camp
Day 4: Kibale national park
  • Take an early breakfast, and then head for the forest in search for man's closest relatives - the chimps plus other primates like the colobus monkeys, red, blue and gray tailed magabeys and a variety of bird species
  • Have your picnic lunch as you gaze at this multi - canopied forest and game
  • Whole afternoon in forest
  • Have dinner and overnight at Kibale tented camp
Day 5: Kibale - Queen Elizabeth
  • After breakfast, drive heading for Queen Elizabeth national park with the Rwenzori ranges acting as pillars at a distance.
  • Enjoy plenty of game life along the way
  • Arrive Mweya for a lunch
  • After lunch, take a boat cruise on Kazinga channel that pours into Lake Edward.
  • You will view varied species of birds, high concentration of hippos and many other game along the water banks. This provides with good gesture for photography
  • Return to Hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • Take an early morning game drive for those wild animals that feed early.
  • Return to hotel for your breakfast
  • Take time to relax at the hotel as you enjoy the scenery in it's vicinity
  • Have your lunch at leisure
  • After lunch, take an evening game drive, and watch out for the late hunters/ eaters. Note; There are animals which you can only see only in mornings and others in evenings
  • Return to hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 7: Mweya - Maramagambo forest - Kampala
  • Wake up early and head for Maramagambo forest thick with plentiful plant and tree species
  • Do forest walk and view primates such as: chimpanzees, some species of monkeys
  • Visit the bat caves
  • The blue lake - the only one of its' kind on planet earth!
  • Proceed to Kampala with stopover in Mbarara for lunch, then along the way for fruit and handcraft buying as well as the equator line.
  • Arrival in the city will be in the evening.
