SAFARI EQ11: Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth -Gorilla tracking (Bwindi) (7 Days)

Day 1: Kampala - Kibale
  • Depart Kampala for Fort Portal town neighboring Kibale forest National park.and have your lunch at hotel.
  • After lunch, take a tour of Bigondi swamp surrounding Kibale forest - and look out for the Blue Turacos. You may also view colubus monkeys, sitatungas and other bird species and small mammals.
  • Have your dinner and overnight at Kibale tented camp.
Day 2: Kibale National Park Tour
  • Spend your day tracking chimpanzees and other primates like the Red colubus monkeys, Blue, Red and Grey tailed magabeys. You will also enjoy this splendid multi - canopied tropical forest. You will find this guided tour very informative and enjoyable.
  • You will have your lunch in the forest
  • Evening and overnight at Travelers Inn
Day 3: Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National park
  • After breakfast, set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park enjoying the scenic Rwenzori mountans in your vicinity
  • En route, you may view lions, antelopes, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, etc.
  • Reach Mweya in time for lunch.
  • After lunch, take a boat cruise on Kazinga channel - host of the biggest population of hippos in Africa as well as variety of bird species. The bird population is impressive with about 500 species - resident
  • Spend overnight at Mweya safari lodge.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • Take an early morning game drive.
  • Lunch at Mweya safari lodge.
  • After lunch, take a game drive to allow you view wildlife you missed out seeing in the morning game drive.
  • Dine and spend a night at Mweya safari lodge
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
  • Early breakfast and depart from Queen Elizabeth national park
  • Through the beautiful Kigezi hills.
  • Arrive Bwindi in the evening, have your dinner and spend the night at Buhoma in Guest house
Day 6: Gorilla tracking
  • Early morning, pave your way into this impenetrable forest v- home of gorillas. The hilly landscape is steep and offers a variety of animals such as baboons, golden and colubus monkeys plus plenty of bird species
  • Return in the evening to dine and spend a night at Buhoma guest house.
Day 7: Bwindi - Kampala
  • Breakfast at Buhoma and depart for Kampala.
  • Through the Switzeland of Africa
  • Have stop - overs at your leisure at spots of your interest
  • Enjoy your lunch in Mbarara
  • Then proceed to Kampala
